Warwick Oil Finish - What Type?

I just bought a Warwick corvette STD bass and the body is an oil finished bubinga. It feels spectacular and I was curious I anyone knows anything about their oil process? I am considering using it on a guitar.

Warwick recommend waxing bodies with their Surface finish wax. I assume they apply it to the bodies in the factory as well. Maybe worth a try.

Drop them an email their customer service is normally really good.

Wow. You don't see Bubinga bodies very often. That one looks sorta like a "marital aid", but still... <grin>
