They're quite labor intensive.  Most popular models first.  Soloist just came out and the web crew is still working.

My rule of thumb for software resuse is:

Build it once to solve the problem at hand.
Build it a second time to try to solve the problem in a more general manner.
Build it a third time for production.

Pretty soon I'd expect these things to get get down to a list of rules and images. After the next few shake out, the biggest hurdle to getting even musiclanders and 7 string Z's on board is the photography & artwork.

This would be my guess as to how it works too, but I don't know anything about software programming and i could be totally wrong.
