Hi Guys,

I just finished my third Warmoth build here:

It has made this Strat "excess".  Here are the pics:

I have over $1,400.00 invested in parts alone.  I had the guitar professionaly set up by the good people at 12th fret in Toronto, Ontario.  The wiring for the Piezo was beyond my limited electronical knowledge.  Frets were leveled and dressed.  All labour came to around $400 and I am throwing in a Fender hardshell case in perfect condition to ship it it.  The case costs me another $115.00.

The small three way switch on the body is for the piezo.  Up is piezo only, middle is piezo/magnetic blend and down is magnetic pups only.  When the piezo is engaged, the bottom tone knob becomes a "blend" control.  When the switch is down, it cuts the piezo signal completely out of the signal chain (that's the way I understand it anyways).

Here is how I got to $1,400.00 (it's not hard):

Body
$490.00 Showcase body – Strat, AAAA Quilt Maple Top, Swamp Ash Body, Rear Route, Contoured Heel, Natural Masked Binding, Tobacco Burst Front and Clear Brown Back (Warmoth Finish)
$75.00 Misc. Parts (Knobs, Switchs, Rings, Plates)
$69.95 Dimarzion AT-1 Bridge
$139.90 Dimarzio Area 58 Single Coils x 2
$118.99 LR Baggs X Bridge Piezo Vintage Tremolo
$89.99 CTRL X Preamp
$983.43 Total

Neck
$432.00 Custom Neck – Strat, Vintage Modern, 3A Flame Maple, Rosewood fingerboard, 1 11/16” nut, 6150 frets,  22 Frets, 10 – 16” Compound Radius, Side dots only, GraphTech Black Tusq XL Nut, Peghead Tobacco Burst on Face and Clear Satin Finish on the back (Warmoth Finished)
$54.00 Schaller Mini Tuners
$486.00 Total

I am not trying to make any money on this, and I think it is a fair deal.  I understand that custom made guitars are poor investments.  I would consider selling the fully loaded body separately for $600.00 (case included).  I know that alot of players have very specific preferences about necks, but I would rather sell the guitar whole.  Funds from this sale will be rolled over into my next warmoth build.  I already have the specs in my head.

I will post a link to the Ebay listing as soon as it goes up.  Cheers!

John
