This is a two part question for anyone out there who owns, or has extensively played,
a Warmoth neck with the SRV asymmetrical back profile.
- [size=12pt]1) Have you ever played an ESP/LTD Keith/Kurt/Kirk Hammet KH202 guitar? That is the
only asymmetrical contour I know. Since asymmetry by definition involves disorder, I realize
that how a neck is asymmetrical can vary greatly. The KH202 neck has the prominent
bump at the top 45 degree position on the back above the spine/centerline, and then descends
with remarkable flatness, and a slight angle, until the fretboard. It's a lot like a "D" neck
that is wearing a pushup bra. Can you compare - writing as many words as you can -
your SRV neck to this KH202 neck? For example, the 202 neck has a bump at the 45 degree
position, but no prominent angle or "spine". The Warmoth site implies (like the Clapton)
that the SRV has a spine, or triangular pointed contour, at that hump area. Does the SRV
neck feel flat below that spine, or more curved? How curved? Does it feel flatter than a normal
symmetrical neck? The diagram says it is, but do you feel it?
[*][size=12pt]2) Would you be willing to go find the KH202, play around with it, and then
report back with results, opinions, reflections, contrasts about your SRV neck?

I'm a lefty, and finding tons of necks is difficult. And finding a lefty SRV neck to play is almost
impossible. These are the reasons for my questions.
Thank you very much for considering this, and reading this post.
