Hey All,

Warmoth lost power due to the ice storm Thursday at about noon and is still out .... the website and online ordering is still up and running.

If you have pending inquiries, issues or orders we will be attending to these ASAP.

Sorry for any inconveniences. And thank you for your patience!

Ice storms be damned! Darned mother nature, interfering with the production of awesome guitar parts. :help:

You guys are just covering up for having not.shipped my neck yet arn't you?
Man the length some companies will go too. Actually congering up a snow.storm.

LOL. I saw the forcast.but did not think it would be that bad. Make sure everyone is safe. Hope power at the houses is ok.

I hope you are all safe and sound. Coming from the Land of 10,000 lakes, I know a little bit about ice storms and how unfamiliar with them you are in the Pacific Northwest. Find some shelter and ride it out. Let the road crews do their jobs.

I've been out of power for nearly a week from ice storms.  They are vicious little buggers.
If I hadn't placed an order Monday it would be all sunshine & lollipops.

It's for real alright.  There are over 180,000 people without power in the Puget Sound region, with Puyallup and Federal Way among the most impacted.

World Vision has been closed for 3 days due to the weather.  I've only been to work Monday and Tuesday this week.  There are tree limbs breaking all over the place and knocking out power lines.

I watched a tree limb collapse yesterday on the property where my apartment is, and it's so bazaar.  I was knocking ice 1 1/2 inches thick off of my car, just like those dues on "Deadliest Catch".  There are people lined up at the gas pumps to get gas, either because they've been confined to home or in some cases, the gas stations have run out and the re-fueling tankers haven't showed up to re-fill the gas station.

Power is still out.....  Here is a little of what is going on:

I too live in an ice belt. And we get a lot of northerners who like to talk about southerners not driving well on snow. And every "snow" storm there's a ton of 4WD vehicles in the ditch. Turns out they don't know better than to try and drive on ice.

Hope everyone is ok. I lived through the nasty ice storm that happened up hear about 10 years ago.  Both Ottawa and Montreal were out of power for several long weeks!

Keep safe,

Trevor

From the ice storms I have been In I do know it can be a few days for electricity to come back on. I do hope everyone there has a alternative form of heating the house so they stay warm and toasty. Good luck everyone and stay safe. The roads are not the place to be till they melt.

4WD vehicles have better traction, but that's it! They still slide off the road as easily as FWD cars.

Montrealer here, lived through that freak ice storm back in 1998, no electricity for 2 weeks.
I'm just happy my new neck is already in transit and should be here shortly ;)

I've had a couple 4WD trucks in the past, and it always takes a bit of discipline to remember that while you can get going and get out of things better than everybody else, you can't stop or turn any better. You have to ignore that false sense of security that being able to move forward/backward gives you.

Here's a small piece off the roof of my car from last years ice storm:

It was a 2 day ice storm. If you look closely you can see the line in the middle between days.

Power is finally back on at my house.  Wow.  The devastation caused by the ice is hard to believe.  Most of the large trees in our neighborhood are damaged or destroyed entirely.

Still don't have the office back online but hope to have that done before Monday morning.

Wyliee, while we all appreciate the amount you guys are working to get our products delivered, we do want you all to know that your personal safety comes first.
It is not like we are going to the competition over a few days of natural disaster: oh there is the link, humm that is a tasty look Ash body, and look they are having a sale, wow look at those: err is my microphone on? :sign13: OPPPSSSSS,  No that was not me. :glasses9: well maybe but I was doing ahhhhhhhhhh, :dontknow: research, :evil4: ya research. :help:  I think I need my politician skills to get out of this one. :icon_thumright:

Hope everyone stays safe.  It's cool that you communicate when things like this come up.  You guys are top notch.  I'll keep patiently waiting for my new strat body.
