So this is a well-used, Warmoth HSH route body now disassembled, nitro finished, contoured heel, but I need to get a few more pics as some black dye splashed on it. It might wipe off with naptha, will update later on, I just stuck it on a shelf and don't have a plan fot it. For now call it decidedly non-mint.

Finish is home-job DIY nitro at least 5 years old. If you're particular I'd say sand back, touch up as needed, spray a few coats but and polish out. I wouldn't bother.

Will include Wilky with bar, I guess the pickguard. Guess I can do the switch and pots and output jack

Can also probably toss in a maple/maple neck needing some TLC but serviceable, depending on shipping, have a couple of those actually.

So the recessed route annoys me and it's on the bright side. I've been on the fence about this one but a few bad pickup choices along the way + other Strats and projects say I should let this one go. With no other information I'd say SSL2 in the neck + a darker sounding bridge.

So like $1,950 takes it. Or maybe $195 or something I don't know just floating this because things move slow here. Trades maybe

I have a Taylor SB1-X and an LTD MH-1000, each of them in solid operating condition and with minimal wear-and-tear, but their brightwork is somewhat pitted from being stored out of cases in a seaside town.  Any interest in a trade?

Stock photos b/c I don't have actual photos of either of them yet.  If there's interest I'll get you some real photos depicting the actual specimens.

Both cool guitars but not sure I’m looking to trade up and bring cash into it, and besides I think I’m pretty covered on Singlecut types and Floyd/EMG types.

For trades maybe things like pickups, or say an unpainted Warmoth body somebody fished out of screaming deals but never got around to using. No amps, pedals etc.

Actually considered painting this but I mean the grain

I sent a DM a few days ago. Interested in body and would like to see some pics of it with the black dye like you mentioned. Thank you.

Hey I haven’t been on for a few days. Thursday night I’ll snap some pics

Ok thanks again to those whose PMs I missed and for being patient.

So I’m going to simplify all of this and just say body w/ everything currently attached to it, plus the trem arm $200 even, shipped, continental US only. No other add ons included. I’d be fine w PayPal or Warmoth gift certificate.

For an extra $10 I have the tortoise HH pickguard, or I can also do an unused HH white pearl Pickguard.

In the trem cavity you’ll notice a little device that adds some resistance with the bar, so it takes a little more tension before the bridge moves so you get a little range to bend. You can adjust as you like, lock the bridge in place or take it out as you like. Works fine but kills flutter and trem arm will feel stiffer

Anyway you see the dye splatters and misdrilled trem cavity holes - I’d gone without just fine but one day decided to put one on at a time without strings on (duh).

Was tempted to keep this and fix it up but I have new Strat types incoming. I don’t like the recessed bridge rout either

If I were keeping I’d plug the trem cover holes and sand a bit with 600 and touch up as needed, and then sand and polish it out, or add 2 coats let sit a week and then do it. All the lacquer on it is 5 years old so you have a good base to work with

Also it’s a bit in the bright side and has a contoured heel.

Incoming new strats

EDIT: 9/16 No takers, taking down and will do something with it.

I hate the idea of painting over this grain but I've had my share of natural ash Fender types, and that recessed rout is just an eyesore for me anyway
