So, i've received my neck and wanted to install tuners and do a fret level, but i can't work out how to adjust it.
Never had a heel adjust neck before and it certainly doesn't help that Warmoth doesn't include a wrench to adjust it. Also the info says it's slotted, but i can't find a slot there either. None of my allen wrenches from previous guitars or random tool kits will fit it. The instructions don't even say what size is needed.
SO, i found one that was close and tried to file it down, but it is really tight trying to turn it clockwise and after a full turn + it is nowhere near flat. i can back it out the other way and the whole thing starts coming out of the back. I've never had to adjust any neck ever more than a half turn before.
any tips?
EDIT: Nevermind, i was trying to adjust the inner, smaller, hex hole, but noticed it was actually moving the larger outer hex hole as well and i did have a wrench that fit that one well enough that i could apply enough pressure to turn it without worrying about stripping the hole. Probably basic info to you all, but with no frame of reference and no specifications in the instructions, i had to make assumptions.
