Warmoth mint pickguards... any photo examples?

Looking for photo examples of how Warmoth's mint pickguards look on a guitar... preferably attached to an olympic white strat.

Seems to be a shade that varies slightly from vendor to vendor, and to be honest Warmoth's option looks a very unattractive shade of green on their website... that said, it's a very hard colour to assess as an isolated part, without a guitar as a reference point.

With careful keywording I can find a few examples via Google, but it's a little vague whether the pickguards are Warmoth parts or something else.

:help:

I saw that thread in my searching  :glasses10:  I agree, with an oly white strat as starting point, the right shade of mint green looks really good.  And that is the right shade of green.  But with so many variant shades between vendors (some of which look horrible) - I don't want to take a gamble without seeing a few examples first.

Specifically looking for examples of Warmoth's mint green because I need a custom cut pickguard... off-the-shelf just won't work... unless you know of an off-the-shelf strat 8-hole pickguard with humbucker bridge, floyd rose fitment, and middle pickup and volume hole omitted  :dontknow:

Here's the guitar in question.  Unfortunately, the mini-toggles aren't really working for me ergonomically - a 5-way selector is much easier to control on the fly.  Thus my motivation to get a new pickguard.

Just tossing up whether I should retrofy it (with a mint green or parchment pickguard) or keep it looking factory fresh as it does now.  BTW - this neck is only a temporary fitment - I have a maple/rosewood neck inbound for this guitar.

I would give Callaham a call and see if he would custom cut it for you or send you one with out the pickup routs cut and do it yourself.

While I don't have any photos handy, I have the Warmoth mint green pickguard on two of my strats.  The Warmoth website makes it look incredibly green, but mine look nothing like that.  It just looks like a vintage pickguard you'd see on an old strat.  I think they're great.

All the pickup covers and knobs on that blue strat are vintage white, and I think the Warmoth mint green pickguard blends it with them perfectly. BTW, I just found out that Leo Fender didn't play the guitar.  Now that volume knob location on the Strat is starting to make sense.  As with this guitar, I always leave that out or get the Warmoth DeLonge pickguard.

Me too.  :icon_thumright:

I like the strat volume knob where it is, very handy for violining the volume.  Still it must be a pain for those who knock into it.

I live in Australia.  Trying to organise a customized pickguard from half the world away for a non-genuine Fender via an unknown (to me) third-party supplier leaves too much room for error, too much scope for problems.  If I stick with Warmoth I can order based around my own schedule, it's guaranteed to fit perfectly, the price is right, and I don't have to worry about detail miscommunications... a few clicks and my order will be ready.  The hardest thing is choosing the colour!

Your guitar looks really cool and from the pic of the Warmoth pick guard in mint green I think it would be a successful combination. For $25 worth a gamble.
