Warmoth J-Bass Neck Hex Nut Size

Cam anyone tell me what size hex nut the Warmoth truss rod for bass uses? It seems like it's 5.5mm or something similar, and naturally it's the one size I don't have!

I have two Jazz necks, and the Allan key sizes are different on both of them.

Whatever the size might be, it's never in mm, but in inches...Don't mess your truss rod hex nut !

Sorry to resuscitate a year old thread, but the answer doesn't seem to be either on the UW board or on the W website - I spent enough time searching...

According to me it's actually 7/32". That works out at 5,56 mm. A 5,5mm key should also work, the difference seems small enough, but if you can get hold of a 7/32" that would be better.

yea, use a 7/32" allen. seems trivial, but I'm an auto tech in training...I've seen tools that are "close" end up rounding off bolts after time.
