I'm interested what the tone is like with the Super Distortion and Goncalo neck. Thicker & fatter than a normal tele I'd expect? Still twangy?

I started to make a smart aleck comment about ordering the 2.5" wide nut, when I realized that it's not your photo that's off, but rather my desktop resolution. Nice build tho - the sunburst + radius makes me think it'd look really cool on a really large radius roundover like 'my tele my way'.

@Stew- I love it. It's a boat neck also so has a really great sound. The neck pickup sounds more like what you expect from a tele but the tone from the bridge pickup would make you think it was something other than a tele if you didn't see it.

I like it.  The finish looks really good on the ash, and that's a nice looking neck as well.  Nicely done.  :headbang:

Thanks;  can't take credit for the finish though, Warmoth gets the credit for that part. I really like the black burst and wish they did more bodies like that. This was a showcase body I snagged a while back.

Yeah, I have plates Doug cut for my other two. I hit him up about a design for this one with an Ash tree but it was too detailed.
