You can smurf a maple board if you want, but the highs and sustain kinda sucks.

Not sure what the brand is. Buffing thin finishes is quite the skill though.

No doubt. Even thick finishes can be wrecked with a moment's inattention on a buffer like that. A thin one has no forgiveness whatsoever.

I'm hoping it's for "wide" - I ordered a superwide fatback with a Firebird headstock a few weeks back. They don't do a whole lot of Firebirds so I'm guessing that's mine.  Can't wait to get it!  :cool01:
