Did Daryl ever figure out his gun was stolen?

I thought for sure Carl dropped the gun when the walker that was stuck in the mud got free.  I thought Daryl would then find his gun missing.  Then in the next episode Carl gives the gun to Shane.
If you watch carfully, you see him pick it up as he's getting away.. :icon_biggrin:

Thought the bike and saddlebag belonged to the walker that was stuck in the mud.

I never read the comics, but I had a thought:

If anyone who dies turns into a walker, how awesome would it be if Lori had a miscarriage and got eaten from the inside out? I hate her so much.

I thought about that too.  She has to have that baby now.  Although, no teeth, soft fingernails, and no motorskills, how bad would it be?

Something else, as far as continuity, the doctor or someone explained every walker was reduced to their most primitive urge to eat.  We've seen they can't climb, use tools (except maybe turn a door knob), are attracted to light and noise, aren't capable of any defensive actions, yet in one of the first episodes, a little girl walker stopped to pick up a doll.

I'm watching this show. It's alright. The whole looking for Sophia for 7 episodes and the magic farm bit was dry and boring as are most of the characters. It picked up a ton toward the end of the season. It's not The Wire but I like sci-fi and am not completely burned out over zombies yet, somehow.

I received the compendium book for the first 48 comics as a present; it's okay. I'm not a comics guy. Biggest shocker is that my Mom sent it to me, when all I really wanted for my birthday was some socks and underwear.

Keep reading.  It gets good.  It gets real good.  As soon as they find the prison and the Governor... holy crap, you can't put it down.  I'm hoping that they're going to get back on track with that stuff.  It looks like they are, I mean they hinted at the helicopter, the prison, and Michonne in the season finale.

Also, comic book version of Dale and Andrea = awesome.  TV version of Dale and Andrea = totally lame.  That goes for most of the characters on varying levels really, but especially Andrea.  She's one of my favorite ones in the comics and I can't stand how badly they screwed her up in the show.  They wussed out and made her and Dale 1) not have a romantic relationship and 2) not have that much of an age difference because they were afraid that viewers couldn't handle seeing a 23 year old with a senior citizen.  And then for some reason they made her totally bitchy and whiny.  If they screw up Michonne like that, I'm probably going to not even watch it anymore, and I think that probably goes for a LOT of the people who started off watching as fans of the comics.

It seems like the comics really push the envelop a lot more and don't turn away from tough stuff (or just edgier stuff), and I'm not getting that as much in the show.  I really hope the producers get over that and just let Robert Kirkman work his magic.

I've not seen the comics, but I hope it pics up. Which i think it will, I was telling my wife during watching the last episode that I hope they move away from the farm house. Which they did, it was getting a bit long in the tooth and it needed to move on..

This is nice.

[Warning: Don't play it at work or in front of the kids.]
