Are these an old design .... or custom design ?

It is indeed an old design.  Ernie Ball / Music Man put on some pressure, lawyer styel, so Warmoth had to discontinue them (or pay dearly, I'm sure).

I wasn't going to buy it, as I've got #3 Strat just started, followed by that #4 Cocobolo 'FireBird'  :toothy10:

I believe it was 2007-2008, cause that's what actually led me here to the forum. I noticed my pic of my VW was gone from the Gallery, and had to find out why, and found this forum...Funny how one thing leads to another...
