Wow, that is pretty amazing, considering the only reason I even voted for myself was because I couldn't decide between Black Dog, Faruk, Updown, and Jcurl02 as my favorite (although I don't think there were any entries that I really didn't like this month, everything was outstanding).  With that competition, I am genuinely surprised that I got any votes, let alone a win.  I guess when you're the only solid finish in the mix, sometimes that can be a good thing.

When you were building it, I was right there with every step. The custom ash tray was extra icing that pushed it to the next level. Real creativity on your part.

Just like when I won in April 2010, it was a Solid finish Jazz bass with traditional appointments, and an exotic neck with a Pau Ferro board, against a ton of guitars.

Actually I think given the 5 months already gone, this year is pretty well booked up.

Yeah, I was thinking about that earlier.  I wouldn't be surprised if every GOM for the rest of the year were re-entries from this month (if their owners want to re-enter them).
