That win shows that a vintage vibe never goes out of style. And the taste of the members here.  :occasion14:

Great stuff  :icon_thumright:  Hannaugh and congrats on your 3rd GOTM.
Looks great up in the corner  :glasses9:

Margin .... 2 lengths x 2 lengths  :laughing7:  and chased all the way home to the line, by a Black Dog  :icon_biggrin:

Thanks to those that voted for mine as well, mine was a late entry because I just couldn't decide out of all those other beauties.

I will win next month, unless some obtuse ruleset prevents me from entering.

No one cares about the imaginary guitars you don't photograph properly. :dontknow:

:o Wow, that is pretty amazing, considering the only reason I even voted for myself was because I couldn't decide between Black Dog, Faruk, Updown, and Jcurl02 as my favorite (although I don't think there were any entries that I really didn't like this month, everything was outstanding).  With that competition, I am genuinely surprised that I got any votes, let alone a win.  I guess when you're the only solid finish in the mix, sometimes that can be a good thing.

Thanks for the votes and the good wishes, guys!  And thanks to GOM for hosting the threads.  :toothy10: :toothy12: :hello2:

Of course, this does mean I'm 3 for 3.  Now the pressure is on for the next build...  :evil4:
When you were building it, I was right there with every step. The custom ash tray was extra icing that pushed it to the next level. Real creativity on your part.

Congrats on the win, there was some tough competition

You are going to run out of room on your signature for all your winners...
Yep she is.

BTW ....  you better make your posts short and sweet from now on  :icon_jokercolor:  :laughing7:

This formula has worked twice now, for securing the win for a bass entry in a GOTM contest.
Solid finished Jazz body; traditional appointments; exotic neck.

Oh, and of course, Pau Ferro boards. :blob7:
If you want to beat out a room full of guitars, you'd better be sporting some Pau Ferro.

But mine did  :toothy11:

Back of neck thou ....

But yours was a guitar.  :blob7:

Just like when I won in April 2010, it was a Solid finish Jazz bass with traditional appointments, and an exotic neck with a Pau Ferro board, against a ton of guitars.

I want to say congrats to Blackdog for a well deserved 2nd place finish.

Yeah that's who I voted for but congrats are in order because I didn't expect it finish as high as it did!

Thanks again, everyone!  And I still can't believe I came in first even with that amazing spalt Tele and all those lovely Strats and everything.  Everyone who entered this month should enter again soon, I think there were several future GOMs in there this time around.

Actually I think given the 5 months already gone, this year is pretty well booked up.

Yeah, I was thinking about that earlier.  I wouldn't be surprised if every GOM for the rest of the year were re-entries from this month (if their owners want to re-enter them).
