puh ... :confused4: ... this was my first vote for a GOM contest and it is soooo difficult to choose one of these wonderfull guitars!!
But, on the other hand it is very easy to know in advance, who is the winner :toothy10: ... WE ALL are winners!! I think for all of us, it was a great time to plan, construct, order, build, setup ... and at the end to play these guitars (and proudly prestent them here :icon_thumright
Thanks to the 'Warmoth team' and the 'Unofficial Warmoth Forum' team!!! ccasion14:
I'm torn. I still like mine better than any of the others, but I also approve of the sporting sentiment that one should not vote for one's own entry. I'll think on it.
I agree - the natural flamed maple is handsome. If I have a quibble with the guitar, it's one that cannot easily be overcome without loss to functionality - my beef is that the Roland pickup controller thingy is bulky and distracting. But the underlying axe is irreproachable. Nice job!
My oppinion is that I can play fine with just the side dots, so why should I cover the pretty wood? Though if I was to teach with one of my guitars, I would definitely choose one that had inlays, for the convenience of the student.
