Good luck all. What a choice of guitars...

Absolutely. What an amazing and varied selection. No idea how people are supposed to choose between them (without a vested interest anyway)!

A veritable swarm of awesomeness.  I have no idea how I'll vote yet.  Gotta ruminate and cogitate a bit.

Wow a hard choice as 4 really stood out to me. I also voted these same 4 for the monthly contest. Hard choice, but made.

So I voted for the one I would most likely play if I owned it.  Seems as good a criterion as any other, since they're all clearly beautiful instruments.

Decisions  :dontknow:

Wow. Tougher than judging a bikini contest. Just too many great choices. I almost had to flip a coin at the end.

I'm always a sucker for candy colors, red especially, and I love the Khaler trem. But I can't in good conscience vote for a tele!

Gotta go with Kuro's April shredder. Good luck everyone regardless, awesome guitars all around.

:rock-on:

It's a sweet bass but not $1,200 for just the body sweet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bass-Body-Black-Korina-Schaller-Bartolini-Warmoth-Shrt-or-Medium-Scale-30-or-32-/201258442096?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item2edbf01d70

I agree. It's amazing sometimes what sort of value some people place on parts.

But, this isn't the thread for such discussions. We're supposed to be voting on serious stuff here.

And the winner is...

Fat Pete!

Many congratulations and thanks to everybody who has taken part!

Congratulations Pete! That's a beautiful instrument, and a well-deserved win!

Those are all awesome builds.  Congrats to Fat Pete!  The Kahler and the pickups definitely are unique.  So many of us, me included, build an instrument around the wood and its grain that it is easy to forget that a painted body and headstock can also be awesome.
