Virtual builders - Where are the neck and non Strat/Tele bodies?

Love the virtual body & neck builders but why does the display on the right not handle bodies that are not Strat/Tele shaped, and why no similar display for the neck builder? Is this something Warmoth are working on?

I believe those are coming. It takes a lot of work to make the builders look right and Warmoth has guitar parts to make. The Strat and Tele bodies are the biggest sellers for Warmoth, so it makes sense that they would do those first. I recommend patience, young Jedi.

Ooops, I guess Lucas trademarked the word Jedi. Now I might owe him money for using the word. Twice!

I do wish they'd roll out the virtual builder for other body types ... particularly the LPS. I've been gassing for an LPS since I was a tot, and now I've been spoiled by the Strat and Tele builders to the point where I don't trust the old system because it won't show me the mock-up!

It would be nice, and they should have a consistent user interface. But, the Strat and Tele bodies are so popular that it's usually a pretty good bet you can find the wood/finish combo you're considering in The Showcase, and those are live bodies. That is, they're not "mock-ups" or stock photos. The only difference is going to be the body's shape if you're looking at something else. The same goes for the builder, if you want to see how different finish hardware will look against the finish you're considering. Gold hardware against a honey burst finish over quilted maple or black hardware over a candy red finish is going to look pretty much the same no matter what body style you choose.

+1 on that.  No offense to the Strat/Tele guys, but I haven't the slightest interest in building either of them...EVER.

I've already made up my mind that IF I do another build, it will probably be either another "Star," or possibly a Z-Body or Musiclander.

I decided to "build" a "Star" the other night, and was highly disappointed that I couldn't see my "finished product."
