Being that there is seemingly no price listing for exotic woods on vintage modern necks, I figure that either they aren't offered or they must be the same price as a pro.
But then again, I've seen more than just a few. Truth is, it comes down to the skunk stripe. Could anyone shed some light on this? It'd be greatly appreciated.

There are a number of Total Vintage/Vintage Modern exotic necks in the Showcase, if you want something custom call/email Warmoth

Why doesn't W let you choose exotic woods for vintage modern necks?

Maybe because "Vintage Modern" is an oxymoron, like "Jumbo Shrimp", "Living Dead" or "Civil War". Can't be "Vintage" if it's made of exotic woods <grin>

Because of wood availability.  Vintage modern and total vintage necks require a slightly thicker neck blank.  Availability of thicker blanks in exotic woods can be limited.

Is this a call-and-ask deal?

I see. after seeing a 1-piece goncalo alves neck in the showcase, I asked W if they could make another for me and they said yes. That's still up in the air for me, but i was very happy to hear it
