Has anyone ever had a problem with certain notes causing their trem springs to vibrate?  The C# when played on the D and G strings cause the springs on my original floyd to vibrate a little bit, causing a little reverberation when played.  All of my springs are tight and you can't hear it when the guitar is amplified, I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this before.

Never use Floyds, but have never experienced that with vintage 6 hole or Wilkinson type tremolos. I always use 3 springs, how many are you using?

Using three springs, like i say, you can't hear it amplified, but this is my first build and was just wondering.  When playing unplugged you just get a little "hum" after you play that note that reminds me of putting your foot on a pedal on a piano or something.  I'm probably nitpicking, but i was just curious.

Yes, I've seen this happen before (with 6-hole trems).  If it bugs you just put something in the trem cavity to dampen the strings, cotton balls or something.

I've found that some spongy foam stuff (like in some electronics boxes) cut in a strip works pretty well under the springs. A piece of a regular household sponge would work fine too I bet.
