Unplated brass single coil pickup covers anyone?

I’m looking to have unplated brass hardware for my HSS build and I’ve discovered that it’s darn near impossible to get unplated brass pickup covers. I just happened to find a humbucker cover but still no single coil covers with 52mm spacing.

Would anyone happen to know where I could acquire some?

I had thought of buying some plated brass covers from Chinese sellers on eBay and de-electroplate them, but that science experiment failed. I guess it’s just as well since I just heard that the brass underneath those usually contains lead so that seems like a no go.
