Anyone else having a problem with the zip file?

Yeah, I can open it but I can't extract the .mp3s.  It seems to be corrupted.

Alright, give me a sec and I'll re-zip it with a different program.

EDIT: try it now

Sounding really good so far (on track 3). I had to mess around a bit to make it appear as one album (making the album artist "Various Artists"), but I'm using a Zune so it may just be me.

I thought about doing that but I thought everyone deserves credit and could perhaps become just a little bit more known in the process.

The individual people still come up as the song artist on the songs when they play. Album artist just ties them together. In any case...

I enjoyed the whole album. Thanks to everyone who contributed and put it together. Great job! I hope I can finish some projects and contribute next time.

DBU had suggested a second page for the album info, one of those with the band members / contributors adding a little flavor to their songs. "Dis song wuz writt abou' ma momma..," ect.

Sounds like a good idea and I always like reading these. If you contributed, feel free to write up a little, "I'd like to thank," or whatever and we'll add it in.

I totally forgot about that, fixed  :icon_thumright:

extremely cool guys  :icon_thumright:  should make this a bi-monthly thing. maybe every 3 months? i'm ok with filling up a good portion of my itunes with songs. as long as there are songs to be had, why only do it yearly?

(obviously if it's a slow time, it could be longer than 2 or 3 months, but just a thought)

I think after this one we will get more contributors, like the raffle that exploded in round two. I think doing it every other month would be taxing it a bit though, so every 4 or 6 months might work best.. of course this is up for discussion.

good point. i'm already trying to figure out if i could get my garageband to sound decent enough to put something on the next cd. i can't seem to get my tone tweaked for an actual guitar  ???  guess i'll get the hang of it. for now, this cd is badass! good work, everybody!

Well done to everyone who worked on this.

It's interesting to put music to names - certainly a diverse crowd.
Is it worth stickying a new thread with the link and the contributor info, seeing as the download info is tucked away on page 16 of this thread?
