WTF...I guess this would be the bass to use in playing "Mudshovel"... :dontknow:
Custom+Bass+Guitar.jpg

that's photo shopped the pickup is where the bridge should be and the two middle strings disappear over the bridge pickup. the bridge has a stop bar and no saddles.

I am trying to tell from the pics if it has a body attached to the back of the shovel, or is that a shadow

Could be, now that I look at the pic of the guy playing, it looks askew... :toothy11:

Cool concept tho..

it would be cool if it were designed by george barris. well ok it is cool either way

That's cool.  Having seen some hallmark guitars in the flesh (and in photos) I always though they were cool in kinda an old-fogey way.  That is, your granddad's idea about what would be cool for the young kids to have.

Still think it's cool though.

LOL! Oh, that's too much fun!

The shovel guitar shows you how much body and neck wood mean, and the tractor shows you how much sentience a drummer needs <grin>

I kid, of course, Dollars to donuts that was either an ash or hickory neck on that shovel, and Neil Peart is certainly sentient.
