Hi everyone. Sorry if my question is stupid, but I'll ask anyway.
For unfinished strat body, if plan is to apply some simple oil-based finish (multiple layers of danish oil, or minwax tungoil etc.), is it Ok to have warmoth install bridge inserts? Or they somehow will be in the way of finishing? Or, a finish can get into the insert cavity and stick to the threads?
Thanks.

It's been done before, just fill the holes with tape to prevent finish from getting on the threads.
Rgr. Thanks a lot. To clarify - no tape over the inserts, but stuck smth. easy-to-pull-off into the inserts?

you can just put a piece of tape over the stud, and cut around it with the tip of a hobby knife, and you'll be fine.

Look at the June 27 post.  Just put some tape over the hole, second pic.
