Underdrive mod?

Anyone know if its possible to use this on a volume pot instead of a tone pot?

Probably not if you want the volume knob to function...but that is an educated guess.

So coming at this from a different angle. The reason I wasn't doing this on the tone pot is because I plan to use a 250/500k dual value pot there. I am doing this because I want my tele bridge pickup to be a bit brighter. What if I put the 250/500k value pot on my volume and then put a 250k push pull pot on my tone?
Would I still get the bright pickup with the volume pot at 500k?

Your tele bridge pickup is likely to be brighter with a 500k pot than a 250k pot. Its some soldering to find out if you like it or not.
