Hi all, I know there are a few of us on the forum based in the UK and Europe.

Anyway I thought I would start a thread so we can add links to sources of mounting screws and other such stuff in metric etc.

The other thing which set me thinking about the thread was a possible get together somewhere. This would give a chance to meet others personally and bring their Warmoths, so if someone has a 59 round back for example you can see how it sits in your hand etc compared to a standard thin or other profile.

Anyone interested say aye, or some other feedback.

Could be very usefull, I'm from the Netherlands myself. I use a couple of suppliers, both from Holland and other countries.

Saying: "Aye" - Denmark

Apart from the obvious US sources for parts I also shop at:

http://gmf.jetshop.se

http://www.gitarrdelar.se

http://www.guitarsupplies.nl

http://www.rockinger.com/index.php

http://www.thomann.de

http://www.axesrus.co.uk

http://www.allparts.uk.com

I will update if I remember more suppliers.

If anyone is in the Copenhagen/Brøndby area - feel free to contact me if you wanna take a Warmoth guitar for a spin.

And saying ''Aye - Aye'' - Denmark..!

And to build on your invitation: If anyone is in the Aarhus area - feel free to contact me, if you wanna take a Warmoth bass for a spin.

Here are a few more EU links:

This shop is amazing for the DIY'er... http://shop.rothkoandfrost.co.uk/

Tube Town in Germany  (mostly parts for cabs and such)  https://www.tube-town.net//ttstore/index.php/language/en

I don't know about you guys, but I always check eBay too. Sometimes if you have the patience it can be significantly cheaper to buy the part from a US seller, even including the transatlantic postage. A prime example would be something like pickups.

Yes I got a lot of stuff via EBay, the hipshot tuners I couldn't find in the UK and used an Ebay supplier.

E bay, handy resource.

(Overheard in a french “bidet”-room):

“Knock, knock!”

“Who's there?”

“European, mon!”

“European-mon who?”

“European onna my shoe! Wassa matta mit choo?!?”

“Knock, knock!”

“Who's there?”

“Bidet!”

“Bidet who?”

“They're out to get you, better leave while you can
Don't want to be a boy, you want to be a man
You want to stay alive, better do what you can
So bidet,
just bidet!”

But, like, here in the colonies, we can get the online Schaller catalog chock full of mighty zippy bridges & tuners and stuff. But we can't actually BUY any of it! Can you, like, ask them? Are they really still mad about that little WWII thing? :icon_scratch:

I don't know who's mad, but it's a bit frustrating seeing all the lovely things Schaller makes and not being able to buy them.

What would we bitch about, then? Whether you believe in “Intelligent” Design (Mosquitoes? Miley Cyrus? DONALD TRUMP'S HAIR!?!?!) or perhaps just Randomized Dooferism, it's pretty clear that when 97.5% of people really do reach a state of deep, profound contentment – that “passeth all understanding” goo -  they're either drunk, dead, senile or in orbit somewhere between.

OGG: “Why no, sweetie, I like this cave just fine! And what in the hell is a “white picket fence?”
Mrs. OGG: “Natter, natter natter natter....”

Lots of interesting links in this thread, thanks everyone. It's annoying to see that many european shops just re-sell what you can get from the US or Japan at a higher price, so it's more interesting to buy directly from the source (and wait a bit longer), but for some products, laquer in particular (which won't cross the Atlantic), they are quite useful.

I'll add two more links:

http://www.eluth.com/ - for tools and nitro lacquer (matte, satin, gloss, and the usual Fender colors)

http://www.tonetechluthiersupplies.co.uk/ - more tools & lacquer
