Angle the turtle 45 degrees and you got a winner.  :icon_thumright:
you angle it...it was hard enough just to do that... :icon_biggrin:

Sorry, no photo shop skillz here, only playing skillz,..................  :icon_jokercolor:
:laughing11:

Now we're getting somewhere!

A lil' refinement on the lower thorax area, make it a tad bigger, and it's totally on!  I think if we kept that area thinner than the top, it just looks like a fat man at the 12th fret.  Great job DBU!!!

Anyone else have some interpretations?  Let's see em!

I though I recognized that "fat man", it's Doug's self portrait!!  :icon_jokercolor: :toothy12:

Thanks, Tony, glad I could help.  :icon_jokercolor:

I wasn't dissing, not at all, it just seems that only a couple of people have any ideas, great ones at that, but I thought we had at least more than a few creative people here.

Fine job Doug, absolutely, I just thought doing a matching inlay/neck plate idea would be cool!

You rock Doug, for sure!

For sure, I can do a neck plate, truss rod cover... :headbang1:

Orb's remix albums convey what I think about this.  Turtle & Gecko power!!

i love the idea, frankly i wonder why warmoth hasnt done this already. seems natural to have the company mascot as a fretboard option. have it done in abalone to finish off the see creature theme, or in hardwood like the gecko for a huge variety of options. i like it as a 12th fret only inlay and would definately have it on a special project.

Personally i don't like the idea of a inlay at the 12th fret. But would love a bigger version on the head stock. with a "Warmoth" logo.

yes, yes, YES! ON ALL ACCOUNTS! great idea! turtles to replace the dots, like they've done with the diamonds and stars; great idea. please, warmoth; do this! I want this badly, even more so than a hollowed out LP with f-holes.
