Tuner Buttons in General

hi there, this is just a quickie, but i just have to be absolutely sure.
i'm considering throwing some pearl (doesn't have to be pearl, just white and somewhat square) buttons on my tuners. (Gotoh SG38).

now, i've already tracked down a some, but i don't know if they'll fit.

now onto the most critical part; how exactly do i proceed with installing these things? is it as easy as unscrewing the top part of the tuner, (on top of the button) and just screwing the new button on ?  ???

oh, and i would really be grateful if you could point me to some european sites, so that i don't have to pay import taxes, vat etc.

Yep, there's a screw that goes through the top of the button into the shaft of the tuning machine. It's just a matter of unscrewing, swapping the buttons, and screwing the new ones down.

The buttons you linked to says they are compatable with Gotoh 510 tuners, you say
you have SG38 tuners, better do so more checking for parts that are compatable with
SG38. They do fit as Bagman67 says.

The SG38 page on Allparts says those tuners are compatible with the same buttons.  Scroll to the bottom and ogle the majesty of the insanely high prices.

On the first link it said compatable with 510 delta series no mention of SG38,
Your search indeed shows compatability for 3X3 & 6in line, I stand corrected now there's
versitility for ya.

It doesn't have to be THAT expensive.  Allparts is a ripoff.

I have bought from both the English and the Swedish site (gmf.se) without problems.
