Truss rod question

I recieved a neck with a Warmoth headstock today. I thought it would have the side adjustment but after checking the Warmoth site I saw it falls into the 13 angled category with no side adjustment. Do you know how I adjust the truss rod? Allen or screwdriver does not fit in this.

An Allen key there, maybe of a different size maybe, might do the trick.

There is no hole to insert an allen of any size :icon_scratch:

For that one you need to use a socket.  You can actually pick up a truss rodd adjustment tool fairly cheap at most guitar shops.  I have gotten one with every acoustic guitar I have bought.  A 1/4 in drive socket and ratchet should work great.

This is correct. I use a narrow socket wrench to adjust that type.

I have a nut driver, basic tool, that works perfectly.I believe it's 5/16 but don't quote me on that.

Try the auto parts store or local hardware store.  They'll often have something comprable, but less expensive than music stores.

Yes it is 5/16. I just got one a couple of weeks ago and it is a perfect fit.

Thanks for the replies. I asked the guitar luthier who assembles my guitars and he has all the tools needed.
I'm gonna have a LP in two weeks :blob7:
