Did a mahogany neck a few years ago with grain filler then Minwax wipe on satin poly. after seeing some tru oil finish test pieces i think i'd like the tru oil on the neck. Can this be applied over the poly without any problems ?
Oil finishes need to penetrate into the wood. Once you have poly down, you can either keep going with poly, do something else relatively inert, or sand back to bare wood.
