Tremolo

Looking to get a decent tremolo pedal for myself. Any suggestions?

I don't need anything fancy, since it will seldom (if ever) leave the basement and I'm not planning on doing any recording.  I'm inclined to go with Boss, simply because that tends to be where I look for pedals. Then again, most of my pedals I never use because I don't like the way they sound. Maybe there's a connection there...

The Boss tremolo is classic, many people are using it stock or modified. The Electro-Harmonix stereo Pulsar tremolo is a little cheaper than the Boss with more options. Both are good choices if you want to stay under $100.

Options are not necessarily a selling point for me; I'm not much of a knob-twiddler. And from what I've read, the EH unit can be a bit...extreme, whereas I'm looking for something a bit more subtle. So Boss it is I guess. :icon_thumright:

Lately I've been using the Pigtronix Tremvelope.
Not the cheapest, & lots of buttons, but I really like the sounds it makes.

hint: Watch Reverb for good prices on used.
