I've ran into a problem. In a body builder mode, I chose an Alder body with Flame Maple Laminate Top and a Transparent finish for it to look something like this: http://www.espguitars.com/products/9948-usa-m-iii-stblue?category_id=1963506-m-iii-series-guitars
Unfortunately, I found that the only finish option for the back of the body offered is Clear gloss finish, which is not alright with me - I want the back to be painted with a colour of some sort - like the guitar to which I posted a link.
But if I choose not to use Laminate Top, all of a sudden the back of the body is painted in the same colour as the top, which is pretty much what I want, back colour-wise.
Is there a way around this to get a Laminate Top (preferrably Flame Maple) AND the back of the body painted with an actual colour? I mean, other than getting someone else to finish the body. Maybe I missed a checkbox or two?
