Transparant finish on front and solid on the back, is it possible?

I'm already planning my second bass! I'm finally ordering my first one, a maple G4, next week. What I'm wondering is if it's possible to do a Maple body with a Walnut top that has a Trans Red finish on the top and Solid Black finish on thre front. I've seen a lot of Showcase bodies with this kind of finish.

Yes I am sure it is. I have seen loads of examples on showcase too!

Yes, I think I've seen in a post from one of the Warmoth employees on the board that if you mix two finishes like that the cost is that of the more expensive finish.

YEs you can do it, and it won't cost anything extra if you have a burstover.  However, there is a $55.00 (I think)  upcharge for the clean line option with NO burstover.
