Trans Black Tele

May I add your guitars will never ask if they look fat, they will stand quietly in a corner waiting for your attention, they will never run through your list of personal quirks, faults and foibles in front of other people, make you sleep on the couch or throw heavy objects at your head (this has happened to me.)

You might be able to guess that I am a happy bachelor. All that stands in my way of complete happiness is ... more guitars!

Happiest of New Years, my friends. One of my resolutions is to increase the thickness of the callouses on my left fingertips.

No, I pulled it from the showcase.  It caught my eye and I knew it was meant to be.  It is, however, an open relationship.  There will be others.  Oh yes, there will be others.

Cool, thanks for answering!

Dude, that's seriously kick ass...But I still like the rev. headstock better...anyway... :rock-on:

Thanks Doug.  You know, that is the one thing that I still wonder if it would have been better.  I still like the way it looks reversed.  I might have to build another just to make sure.  :headbang:

I think you should... :icon_biggrin:

Excellent! I think you did everything right!  I really like the look of an uncovered neck pickup on a Tele.

I guess I missed this while I was away, but that's mighty fine!! Elegant even!! Nice job Mystique1! :eek:ccasion14:

Wow, that is one very classy guitar. It might sound silly, but I think my favorite part is the wood & stain on the back of 'er. I hope you've been practicing those Hendrix behind-the-head solos so you can show off the back to everybody!

Yeah, initially it didn't work for me.  I thought a solid black back would've been better, but as it came together and the flame neck went on, it became what it was grown to be.
