I had this built for me maybe 6 or 7 months ago, but haven't posted it here, although it is in the Warmoth website's Gallery.

Olympic white on Alder (I think)
Wenge fingerboard on Goncalo Alves neck
SS 6115 frets
Gotoh tuners
Seymour Duncan pickups: Broadcaster in the bridge and Vintage Rhythm in the neck

Also haven't posted my first Tele build - a 72 Thinline. But it's in the Warmoth website Gallery too.

Black on Swamp Ash
all Goncalo Alves neck/fb
SS 6115 frets
Gotoh tuners
Seymour Duncan pickups: Screamin' Demon in the bridge and Full Shred in the neck

I use Thomastik-Infeld strings on both guitars: Jazz Swing flatwound .010s on the white Tele, and Blues Slider .09s on the black one.

Here are both of them:

Man I need a thinline something awful.

Everybody does. But, it's an easy problem to solve. Just throw money at it <grin>

Nice job, Mr. Pinter! I like the traditional version better, but that's just me. I'm sure they both play/sound great.

Thanks Cagey. Actually I play  the white one a lot more than the Thinline. I'm not sure why, Maybe because it imposes it's personality less on any processing going into the amp. The Thinline has a very unique sound to it, mostly because of those pickups (especially the Screamin' Demon). It rocks. The traditional is more refined - it lends itself to less aggressive playing styles, which I'm gravitating towards. Those flatwounds are wondeful to play on too, and that guitar is the perfect complement to them. In the early days of the Tele flats were about all that were available, and I wanted this to be a real öld school axe. I admit my neck and fingerboard wood choices stray from the formula, but the sound and feel is there.
