Tobacco Burst Strat

Received this body & neck a week or so ago.  Tobacco Burst strat routed for Fender American Standard 2-point tremolo (swamp ash on swamp ash).  The Warmoth Pro boattail maple neck (light birdseye) has an indian rosewood fretboard, 6150 frets, abalone face dots, GraphTech black TUSQ XL nut, 10"-16" compound radius.

Amalfitano SP pickup set is here as well as all the other parts including Schaller mini locking tuners and the Fender 2-point tremolo system.  Can't wait to get started!

I really liked the color combination.  .

You've just got all kinds of nice stuff at your place. Can I come over?

SSSssshhhhhhh!  Don't tell my wife about my GAS.  It is a serious illness . . . that I'm sure is shared by many on this forum.

You have no idea  :laughing7:. That is a great piece, I love tobacco burst!

Tasty, very Tasty, keep :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: :hello2: up the build and show more pics

That's a beautiful finish. I constantly get amazed at the quality of Warmoth finishes, especially for the price they charge.

I, too, love the variety and quality of Warmoth's finishes.  I find myself cruising the Showcase bodies on a regular basis. I found this body when I was looking for something that would look great with a black pickguard and a rosewood fingerboard.  I already have a cherry burst American Deluxe Ash strat (SCN pickups w/S1 switching) and a MIM Standard (black on black w/Texas specials), both with maple necks & fingerboards.  So, I was looking for something visually and sonically different.  I can pretty much guarantee the visual, but not the sonic.

So, this build with have the Amalfitanos SP.  I've heard and read good things about these pickups; I can't wait to compare them to the Texas Specials.

Although I've got some really great humbucker-equipped guitars, I have a thing for Strats and Fender tweed amps.  How many strats are just "too many"? :icon_biggrin:

Yeah, thats f-ing beautiful man, congrats!  I don't think I've ever seen a more impressive rosewood
fretboard on a neck.

Just looking at those parts (via only the pictures on the interenet I might add) oozes quality and craftsmanship,
I'm always amazed at the quality of product we're able to get from Warmoth!
