Many thanks to all at Warmoth  :icon_thumright:

Been tested against a Mates, American Standard Fender Tele
The finish is heaps better, mine sounds louder (may-be, because my pups are Hot neck & Bridge)
They are very close sounding in Neck posy (mine louder thou) & in the Bridge with the P-Rail set to single coil.
Was very close sounding as well.
I was totally surprised by this, but a good surprise as it does sound very much like a Tele should.
Plus have the use of the Hum & P90 to mix it up.
Plus I have SS Frets.

Another very happy Warmoth customer  :blob7:

Cheers ... Updown

VERY Nice!

So, what method did you use to install your String Ferrules?

OK I added a Link to pic's of my way of doing the Ferrules.
So as not to clutter pic's in here.
Here's some pic's showing some tools etc …. Some pic's are from different builds.
http://s864.photobucket.com/albums/ab202/Zummooz/Ferrule%20Install/

I DON'T use the soldering iron trick  ….. never would !!  ….. I just don't like the sound of it !!

Bottom Ferrules ….
Done a number of ways.
Using fine sand paper wrapped around phillips head screwdriver, and slowly turning to sand back the over hang
of paint in the hole. NOT in up or down motion.
(This can take a while)

Or get a SHARP drill bit that will almost fits in it & just holding the drill bit in my hand, slowly turn back & forward,
Shaving very small amounts of paint at a time, then work the way up in drill bit size to … 5/16 ... doing the same thing.

When I test them in the hole I make sure you get some of the groove line from the ferrule, making a slight mark in the edge of hole.
(will see in pic #26)

Then I use an old screwdriver to push into hole, if needed a very light tap with a small hammer.
DON'T hit it to hard or it will indent the wood / paintwork surrounds.

Top Ferrules ….
I just use a small fine rounded file.
Very slowly & carefully turn it inside the hole one way then the other.
DON'T file Up & Down or will pull the edges / finish up.

Again I use a very small pointed screwdriver to insert them. Hammer very lightly if at all needed.

Thats the way I've done all mine & all are in perfect shape.  :icon_thumright:

Mine DON'T fall out when changing strings like an American Fender Standard Tele  :tard:

Hope that helps.

Thanks again all  :icon_biggrin:
