To pick guard or not to pick guard..that is the question

planning on ordering a V2 body soon. wondering if anyone has ever seen a guard on one of these bodies and what you thought.....does the warmoth v guard even work on the V2 or is it just for the traditional V????

My Jackson RR3 has a pickguard. It can look pretty cool with the right color combination.

For me it depends on what wood you are using for the top.
If you plan on using something that is highly figured, than I would not cover it up for the world.
If just a solid color plain top, than a pickguard might be a nice accent.
