Thumb Print Inlays like

Gee Black Dog, way to kill a thread,  some old threads need to drop off from time to time and discussed again with the newer guys.

The problem I have when I join a new forum, new to me that is, theres a million posts that I cannot read, every subject has been covered, I see no reason we can't cover the same thing over and over so that new members of the forum can partake in the active discussion.

Magazines do it all the time, they repeat articles all the time for the bennefit of new readers, and present them as new articles, actually they are new articles covering material previously covered a year or two earlier.

I say all posts not responded to in a given time get removed or moved to an archive folder, Except Tonars "How too" posts and  To Include : CB, JacktheHack, DangerousR6, and a player to be named later, theres a ton of Info for all of us here that should stay active

You know...

I've read every single thread.  :laughing7:

When an old thread gets commented on, there are always those that say, "Why did you comment on that old thread?"  Can't win.  Can't start new threads of old subjects, and you can't post a new comment on an old thread.  So here we are.

My care factor = zero for unposted "rules" that exist in the heads of forum nazis.  Not saying anything bad about anyone in particular, but every forum has it's dewd (or ten) who gets all fannyhurt over something like this.  If it's not on the front couple pages, and a search didn't bring it up easily, oh well.  I'm not committing the entire website to memory, and if you are, it's time to take a long, hard look at what's important to you.  Imo, of course.

HAHAHHA "Fannyhurt"!

And Yeah, those thumbnail inlays are cool!

I would get 'em on a soloist, to resemble the late 80's early 90's esp horizons

I responded to this earlier today before leaving for work.  For some reason, it did not post.

Anyway, I apologize!  My comment was not meant to stop the thread or bring anyone down.
Only to comment that we had discussed this previously and that I feel exactally the same. [hence the frowny faces]
I too had requested the thumb nail inlays from the Big W and was denied.  I think they are cool as well.

I would love for Warmoth to add some additional inlay options.
I think most people would gladly wait an additional week or two for custom inlay designs.
In fact, one of my Warmoth necks is in the shop right now having custom inlay done because the Big W would not do it.

That being said, I understand that Warmoth is a parts manufacturer, not a custom luthier.
However, it would definately be a way to grow the business [$$$$$].

So, keep this thread going.  The more Wamoth hears our desires, the better chance we have of effecting change.
:headbang1: Gotta Love the Warmoth Forum  :headbang1:
