Meh, that body would look a lot better with no binding, but I'm not a fan of binding to begin with, so I'm kind of biased.
Maybe the natural pinstriping or whatever it's called would look good.

I do like binding on guitar bodies, but not on contoured flat tops like a Strat body. Not even a fan of the natural binding they do, as, if I want to bind the body I would also like to have a binded neck that matched - and that can't be done to match a natural binding on the body.

Whether Drop Top or full binding, don't know the difference, it's not new.  Available on Strats and J-Basses.  But, it's in the showcase so anything goes.
