but it is currently not possible to select a Bubinga neck and Bubinga fretboard on a P-bass neck. You can do Bubinga necks with anything else, or anything with Bubinga fretboards, just not together.

That's why I always phone my orders in.

This isn't going to be ordered for many months, I was just adding some things up.

I noticed that too on J-bass necks

Thanks for the heads up. We're getting that fixed so that you can get Bubinga/Bubinga necks.

I had a bubinga/bubinga J-Bass neck, and they've done them as long ago as 3 years.  Great combination, and I'll do another in the future.  A mite heavy - but tolerable, and ohhhhh so sweet a sound.  The only reason I sold my bubinga/bubinga and bloodwood/bloodwood necks was they both didn't quite fit my hand closer to the nut (where I spend much of my time).  With the "new thin" J-Bass neck...that shouldn't be an issue any longer for those of us with shorter digits that have to play in B or A# for extended periods.  I'm also done with SS frets on my necks after many years and basses.  Some tastes just seem to come full circle  :dontknow:
