There is only one real 007:  Sean Connery.
Any other choice is like saying Shemp was the best Stooge!

Bill, tgo
He's the original, but not the best...And Shemp was the best Stooge.... :icon_thumright:

Bob Holness was the first to play Bond

I thought Brosnan should be Bond for a long time before he ever got the role. And I still haven't seen a one of his 007 films. I preferred Roger to Sean though.  I'm pretty certain that's one of those things that basically says how old you are. Brian > Bon too.

Actually Barry Nelson...

But the films were.

Sean Connery (1962–1967, 1971, 1983)
David Niven (1967)
George Lazenby (1969)
Roger Moore (1973–1985)
Timothy Dalton (1987–1989)
Pierce Brosnan (1995–2002)
Daniel Craig (2006–present)

Like Star Trek was the original, but TNG was better (DS9 had more action, but TNG held more true to the spirit of exploration and discovery than any of the other shows).

HERBERT!
HERBERT!
HERBERT!

The original series had Space Hippies.

I watched about four Three Stooges shorts last weekend. Shemp is not the worst Stooge (he had some decent schtick), the replacements for Curly were the worst.
(Moe, Shemp and Curly were brothers)

I remembers when Brosnan seemed like the obvious choice to be Bond--I think at the time there was an obvious similarity between him and a young Roger Moore.

That said, the Dalton and Brosnan movies are pretty meh.
The Connery Bond movies were super stylish. That continued in the Lazenby one and the first couple Roger Moore ones.
Then the Bond movies got too campy.

I think the Daniel Craig ones did a good reset on the whole thing. He isn't all that charming at all, but the action sequences are tremendously good.

You forgot about Peter Sellers, he also played Bond/Tremble in Casino Royale...

But the real question is, would Bond use the receptacles on the amp pedal board for a martini or an ashtray? And would the martini be shaken or stirred? :glasses9:

i heard Lance Reddick is gonna be the new James Bond. that's gonna rule so hard, my dudes, trust me. i watched a interview with him on youtube but kept getting interrupted with ads. does any1 else miss childhood-targeted advertising? i'm basically middle-aged almost. but jeez. why can't i ask youtube to stop showing me antidepressants and start showing me the latest Super Soaker technology?

anyway. to be on topic, these things look nice, but they seem like better fit for stores as testing stations or displays. i wouldn't want one in my home tbh

Ah Peter Sellers...as I recall Tremble in the movie was one of a number of others agents pretending to be Bond to confuse the other side as it were rather than the actual Bond played by Niven.

Perhaps Sellers as Clouseau would use the cup holders for holding globes.
