I think ol' Andy's just having an anxiety attack because he really wants that thing, so he wants his tummy rubbed <grin>
No anxiety ... but I did own a BC Rich Warlock at one time that was unfortunately a POS. It would be fun to recreate something from all those years ago with better parts ... :icon_biggrin: and I'm sure one of my dogs would be more than happy to accept the tummy rub offer!

Hey, I have an idea! I'm sure there are people here who either currently work for Warmoth or have worked for them in the past...HOW'BOUT IF WE GET AN ANSWER FROM THEM. :dontknow:
That's kinda why I started this thread. Several (if not all) Warmoth employees post on this site.
I first heard of Warmoth when I read about them in "Guitar" magazine from the late 1980s/early 1990s. I just wrote them of as some hack of a "kit guitar" company, as many people probably still do. Well, the internet wasn't around back then, so I don't even know what was offered as far as body styles. I'm not going to be much help. :help:
Ironically enough, what lead me to Warmoth was me wanting a Custom Shop Warlock...until I priced one to slightly over $5600. I thought to myself, "Okay, that's outta the question, so it looks like I am not going to get the dream guitar I've always wanted." Then I thought to myself, "Where can I get an American-made, custom guitar at a somewhat affordable price?"
I remembered those "Warmoth" ads in those magazines from long ago. Well, now that we have the internet, I did some research, and here I am. :headbang1:
Within the past 6-8 months I had the opportunity to play that "dream guitar" when I came across one in a store, and it was the biggest POS on the planet. There it sat, the B.C. Rich Custom Shop Warlock, with a sticker of $3500. While it wasn't to the specs that I'd want, I couldn't help but to sit down with it. I spent about 3 minutes with it. Within that 3 minutes a knob fell off in my hand, after the knob fell off I saw why; the pot was jammed in there crooked, the routing was sloppy and there was a HUGE gap around the pot, the frets were sharp, didn't shine, and looked more like coat-hanger wire than frets. It didn't stop there; the strings pinged and fret buzz was crazy, and the sound was more akin to a choking buzzard than a guitar.
Well, FWIW, I hope it turns out to be a real Warmoth body, because I would've loved to have a Warlock-styled Warmoth.
