Thinking about buying a custom warmoth, questions..

Alright so instead of buying a production guitar Im toying with the idea of building my own. So for specs its gonna be a Jazzmaster Mahogany body. One bridge hum-bucker and 1 volume no pick-guard. Standard fender hardtail bridge, Seymour Duncan distortion bridge pickup only. Roasted maple neck/fretboard wizard style 16" radius Jumbo frets
1 11/16 for the nut etc. What else do I need to buy? Does the neck and body come with all the screws, wiring, whatever I put the volume knob on, tuners, etc or do I need to add those in too? What k pot should I get? Using distortion for now but may switch to the mark Holcomb signature so 250 or 500k? 22 frets also! If I buy it when it comes I just screw everything together and then solder the pickup, volume, and output and good to go? Thanks for any advice, suggestions, or help !

Welcome to the forum.

Warmoth does not sell kits, they sell parts.

So you will need to buy all of the parts.

For Humbuckers, you would usually use a 500K pot.

What about set up, fretwork if needed etc. There can be more to this than just screwing it together.

Welcome to the forum! I think it would be good for you to head over to the “Work In Progress” section of this forum and spend some time reading the build threads that this community has posted. They are full of valuable information and will give you an idea of exactly what goes into this.

This'll give you some ideas on what you need and costs.
