Thickness Sanding

So I ordered a piece of swamp ash to start my next guitar. It was supposed to come prepped to the correct thickness of 1-5/8". Well it's rough sanded, maybe 30 grit, to a little over 1-15/16". I found a local shop that will do the thickness sanding for me. What finish grit should I ask them to work it down to? 220? 320? What is typical of Warmoth's body blanks?

Thanks for the input on this. I'm looking forward to doing this one from scratch. I've only done one scratch build before and that was many years ago when I made an electric mandolin for my father. I didn't have router back then so I did all the cavities with an end mill bit in the drill press. Now I have a router so it'll be a little easier. It's not entirely my own design but it's something a little different. If I'm going to scratch build, I want something I can't just buy somewhere. I'll start a thread on it when I get going.

I'm 95% sure Warmoth says they sand their bodies to 220, and the necks to 320. The shop you're dealing with will likely run it through a thickness planer to take that much meat off, and then sand it.
