The sweetest Tele...

sweeeeet.

Another P90/HB combo.  You want a rather brightish toned P90 for best effect on that one.  Keep the impedance to about no more than 7.75-8.0 max (resistance really) on the P90.  You can go with HB of choice.  Folks dont realize that P90s are high output, and in the neck position will easily out power a lot of HB's in the bridge!~

With goncalo and a korina thinline, you probably want to go a bit brigher pickups.

Thanks -CB-,  I have sitting here a Jason Lollar P-90, which I'm told is about a 8.2, and a Rio Grande Texas Humbucker.  I'm hoping they make a decent match, but I'm having so much fun with this one, it won't bother me a bit if I have to yank one of those to find a better match.  What I'm really shooting for is a mid-range-y monstrosity.  I have a feeling when this one is done my other guitars are going to get lonely for a while.

Your milage may vary, but I found the recent Gibson P90s, almost 9k, are a little too dark in a thinline... just a little.
