Just cuz it ain't heavy metal brootalz, doesn't automatically make it a dad's guitar. Heck, I plan on borrowing this guitar for some rock shows!!!  arty07:

Oh no, for me at least the heavy metal thing has nothing to do with it. I mean, when I see a straight up 50s style tele, I don't think "dad guitar". Just something about this piece that reminds me of my pop!

Yeah, those callahan bridges ARE nice... I've built 2 teles already with the Fender AM Standard bridges, and have 2 more lying around. Probably gonna use it on this, so they all match.

PArts have been ordered. Now just gotta sit back and wait for them to arrive!  :icon_biggrin:

Same here... I'll be listening to nu-metal with my buds... and then they look at me like WTC when I bust out some Glenn Miller or hobo blues... or opera...
