The best Color For a Very Un-Tele Telecaster?

these aren't exact, the real one may or may not have a Tele Humbucker bridge(Or I may keep the idea of a Strat bridge), and the pickups will most likely be a corresponding color. not white.

but of my color choices. which one would you pick, if it was for you?

the paint would be Alpine White, Surf Green,Gloss Black, Bright Red, Candy Purple

If you could get that color red, then yes.  90s Ibanez RG fluroescent red would be cool.  Otherwise, it will just look like a red Tele.  I voted for the green one, but I thought for sure you'd go purple.

Definitely white with the red guard. I think it'd be cool if you made the headstock match the pickguard though.

I figured out how to color the DIY humbuckers(seems they have no posts. and its EVIL trying to align pics of actual humbuckers) and get the graphic pickguard to work.

so I did a few more Kisekei sketches.

I think its the monitors. I colored it on my laptop. and here it looks Surf Green. on the desktop it looks almost Daphne Blue

I'd be more happy with yellow body and headstock with a royal blue oickguard ( my team's colours) but white and red looks OK.

Without spending unholy gobs of money, you'd be hard-pressed to find worse graphics chips and LCDs than you will on a laptop. Even on desktops, you have to take nearly heroic measures to get anywhere near reality, color-wise. So, don't sweat it. This isn't a pre-press shop.

my graphics card is a 256 mb Radeon, for 2008 it was the best you could get in an off the rack Hewlett Packard. it is now, literally burning out. its the only thing in this computer that is failing. and because its a laptop its taking the whole computer down with it.

Looks like Surf Green, Bright Red and Black are winning.

In my head, as well as the poll. its a 3 way tie.

It may seem that the obvious Remedy is to build 3 tele's... but... TEH MONEY.  :sad1:
