So ma Walnut 32" J has always been a wee noisy .Joe @ W whom I got it from had a 5 way rotary tone control . Most were useless to me and so I always just left it on whatever sounded the best . It was also pretty dark sounding so today I took on a massive rewire project and tried something different + added a new Fender Super 55 split J and a GFS MM Alnico 4 conductor . V for the J and a V for each mm coil with a T for all 3 . It's kick ass , the pups sounds great and it has many useful settings .Way better than before .  :icon_biggrin: it's many shades of ballsy  :guitaristgif:

Yeah, -guess you're probably right; MM might totally over-power the Jazz if it were wired in series... splittin' it up probs a good idea.

Looks killer! I love those gi-normous pole-pieces. Sweet-sweet!
