I really don't consider putting a Strat neck on a Tele body a "hybrid", several models came with those, notably Deluxes

I know Jack, It is more trying to fit a 69 thinline pickguard on a hollow strat with f-hole.
I don't think the regular one fits, but I have seen it before, just can't remember where.

but then again, I am still changing my mind about this project every day so it may come out completely different.
