My best advice is to drop them an e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org). Whenever I have a question, I've gotten a response back in a matter of a couple of hours. Otherwise, you can always call and ask (253-845-0403). I've never called myself, but if the staff is as pleasant answering the phone as they are answering the e-mail, you should be very satisfied.
Don't think you'll talk them into that option; while you can always omit the f-hole, the contours would require bending the Thinline top and leaving additional wood in the place where the tummy cut is routed out; either both would add a lot of work/expense/new CNC machining. What's wrong with just getting the chambered Tele?
